It was great to see the number of new people and new dogs at Waterford on March 8th.<\/p>\n

A lot of new people come with various breeds and do not return after the shows. There are so many other activities on and to have a top show dog in top condition involves dedication.\u00a0 If it is a coated breed, the work of the coat, either stripping or combing and cutting to the correct length.\u00a0 The training and socialising of the dog is a lot of work, teaching it to stack and gait.<\/p>\n

Because a dog has come from the UK does not mean it is top quality. But there were several imported dogs and puppies at Waterford.<\/p>\n
