I enjoyed a stroll with one of my friends on the “Barbados Boardwalk”.\u00a0 Lots of tourists were enjoying the beauty of the ocean stretch from Rockley to Hastings, the reefs and the warmth of our sunshine.\u00a0 I do wish the “Boardwalk” could be extended further.\u00a0 Yes, it costs a lot of money but we are a tourist destination so things we can do to make our guests’ stay more enjoyable should be money well invested. Many Barbadians may never bother to walk on the beaches because the beaches are taken for granted but the ones who are returning “home” are more appreciative.<\/p>\n

The “Boardwalk” carries signs saying “No dogs, bicycles, skating, rollerblading, vending” and I was amused when I saw 2 dogs with collars accompanied by, I think, their owners who went off to swim in a nearby pool.<\/p>\n

The dog in the photo stopped right by the sign (where no dogs allowed was written) turned around and went back to the beach. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
