8 months old male, pleasing type badly in need of training which would be to his advantage. Good head shape, nice eye, good legs and feet, good body shape, moved erratically which was due to lack of training both dog and handler. CC & RBOB.

NOVICE

1st – Mr. M. Cottrell’s KENMILQUIN PEBBLE MOON

2 year old bitch, good head proportions, like better front assembly, found her rather long and very untidy on the move. Again better control and handling would be to her advantage.

18 months old bitch, very difficult to assess on the move due to lack of training and poor handling. Nice type, good feminine head, nice body and balance, good top line and quarters. BOB & CC.

4 year old male, very nice type, good head proportions, correct eye shape, ears well used, nice legs and feet, strong body, well ribbed, short loin, good quarters and set on. Moved well both ways and in profile. Well handled but could have been presented in better condition. CC & BOB.

2 year old male, nice head shape and good expression, good bone legs and feet, found him bit thin through, like better hind angulation, moved very close behind and loose in front. RCC & RBOB.

4 year old male, top of the standard, pleasing head and expression, good bone and feet, very narrow through, like more heart room, bit short in rib and long in loin, moved close behind and narrow in front.

5 year old bitch, bit plain in head, nice dark eye, good bone, nice straight legs, good feet, quarters well muscled. Moved soundly. RCC.

10 months old male, still very raw, like better head, more bone and substance and more of him all through, set on high, moved very narrow behind and loose in front. Needs time.

1st – Mrs. S. Leacock’s SH.CH.BENATONE SECRET MISSION OF THEBERTON

Very nice type – all Labrador – good masculine head with no sign of coarseness, good bone, nice straight legs, like better feet, good strong body, nice balance, with good set on and strong well muscled quarters, moved well in profile and fore and aft. Needs to settle when being handled.

6 year old male, very nice type, good masculine head, nice expression, good neck and shoulders, good bone legs and feet, nice body and balance, good topline and set on. Moved well both ways and in profile. Could make better use of his stern on the move to complete the picture. CC & BOB.

Correct size, good breed type, pleasing head and expression, good body and balance, bone ok but very poor feet, long and flat, moved well in profile but untidy in front. Best Dog.

2nd Mrs. R. Lozada’s & Mr. D. Arthur’s CH.CENNENRIDGE ZALIKA

Found him big enough, pleasing head, good bone, bit long cast, did not move well today either way lacking reach and drive. Res.Best Dog.

RHODESIAN RIDGEBACKS (BITCHES)

JUNIOR

1st – Mrs. S.B. Hamilton-Outcalt’s BROANI CHIKU AT CROWNRIDGE

15 month old bitch very nice type, good feminine head, correct eye and expression, lovely body well proportioned, moved well in front bit close behind but lovely in profile. Fell away a bit too steeply over croup. CC, BOB & RESERVE BEST IN SHOW.

4 yr old bitch, very nice type carrying far too much weight which spoiled her balance. Pleasing head and expression, good eye shape but touch light, moved well in profile. RCC & RBB.

AKITAS: Attention should be paid to mouth faults in young stock and really should not be shown or bred from as this fault will pass on through future generations.

1st – Mr. J. Haynes’ SYBERIAN BEAR

6 month old puppy pleasing type, bite very tight, good bone and nice feet, good body and balance, moved well for his age.

2nd – Mr. L. Beckles’ TRIDENT THUNDER N LIGHTNING

Another 6 month old male, very poor in bite very overshot, bit long cast, good quarters correctly angulated, good bone and feet, moved poorly.

PUPPY

1st – Mr. G. & Mrs. S. Spencer’s & Mr. A. Taylor’s MASSIMA’S DARK ASSASIN

Another young dog with a poor bite, nice head and expression, good bone and feet, like better overall balance, found him long and very slack in topline. Movement acceptable. Best Dog Puppy.

LIMIT

1st – Mr. D. Boyce’s DONKEMRE TAKE NO CHANCES

6 year old male shown in very poor coat and condition. Like better balanced body, set on very low which spoiled overall outline. Moved poorly very close behind and untidy in front.

4 year old male, good type, nice masculine head, good eye, well off for bone, good feet, nice body and balance, strong topline held on the move, moved well in profile. Best Dog, CC & BOB.

6 month old bitch, really nice type with a good bite. Nice head shape, good neck and shoulders, good bone, legs and feet, lovely body and balance, moved well. Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy and RBB.

2nd – Mr. H. Gollop’s TRIDENT SNEAK REVIEW

Another 6 month old bitch with a very poor undershot bite. Bit weak in head, good bone and substance. Moved out well in profile.
PUPPY

1st – Mr. T. Worrell’s & Mr. L. Beckles’ TRIDENT PARTY IN THE RAIN

Another 6 month old puppy, pleasing head and expression, good neck, nice bone, very slack in topline and long cast with poor set on, moved very bum high.

1st – Mr. J. Haynes’ RACHAD MY DARLING

3 yr old bitch shown in poor coat and condition. Pleasing head shape, good neck, good bone and feet, nice topline. Movement acceptable.

2nd – Mr. L. Beckles’ TRIDENT DANCING IN THE RAIN

Another exhibit shown in poor coat and condition. Lacking substance, poor in topline, straight behind.

This bitch really filled my eye, excels in quality and type and presented in excellent coat and condition. Only 2 years old with I think an excellent future. Good head and dark eye, plenty underjaw with correct bite, good neck and shoulders, lovely bone and feet, good width of chest and heart room, correct ribbing, nice strong short loin good quarters. Moved with style and drive covering the ground and absolutely sound fore and aft. BOB, CC & BEST IN SHOW.

15 month old male, pleasing type, good head, neck and shoulders, good legs, like better feet, strong body, but bit weak behind. Moved well in front lacked drive behind.

MAIDEN

1st – Mr. R. Wood’s RISING SON

Pleasing head and expression, nice eye, like better overall balance, moved very poorly, close behind and erratically in front.

LIMIT

1st – Mr. T. Small’s FLANDERS FLAMBOYANT

Nice type, good masculine head, nice eye shape, strong neck and shoulders, good body well muscled, nice strong short loin, correct rear angulation, moved well in front but poor behind.

Good strong upstanding male without coarseness. Nice head and expression, good bone and substance, nice body and balance, good quarters with correct angulation. Moved well both ways and in profile. CC & BOB.

2nd – Mr. F. Godson’s HOTHERSALLS MR. BIGLEY

Stronger type than 1, found his head bit overdone, nevertheless a nice one shown in good coat. Strong neck, good front assembly, good body and quarters, nice bone and substance, went soundly. RBD & RCC.

1st – Mr. P. Ashby’s MISS STARLIGHT AT ZAHARA BULLS

Pleasing type, good feminine head and nice expression, good neck and shoulders, good legs, plenty bone and substance, good body and balance, nice topline held on the move, good set on. Moved well in front – disappointing behind. RBB & RCC.

NOVICE

1st – Mr. P. Ashby’s DIAMOND LILY

25 months old bitch, very untidy in underline, pleasing head, good legs and feet, strong body , moved poorly behind and acceptable in front.

Pleasing type, good feminine head, good clean neck, nice bone, good legs and feet, strong well muscelled body, good topline, but again untidy in underline spoiling outline. Movement acceptable. CC & RBOB.

Very nice type shown in excellent coat and condition. Good masculine head, nice eye, excellent neck and shoulders, good legs and feet, good body and balance, strong topline held on the move – went well in profile and in front, just a touch weak behind. CC & RBOB.

LIMIT

1st – Mr. & Mrs. J. O’Selmo’s BREDWARDINE BLUE KATE

Another nice one, shown in great coat and condition, good head and expression, like a slightly darker eye but good eye shape. Excellent neck and front assembly, good legs, plenty bone right down to good feet, nice body and balance, moved well in profile and fore and aft, therefore going over the male for BOB. CC.

DOGUES DE BORDEAUX (DOGS)

It is difficult to know where to start with these exhibits, all I can say is that they lack type and quality. Sorry.

PUPPY

1st – Mr. A. Taylor’s MONIFA PRINCE JABARI

Lacking quality and type, head acceptable, general confirmation poor. Really bad on the move.

BOB & Best Puppy.

2nd – Mr. R. & Mrs. C. White’s TAJIREH TRIGGER

Similar comments to above except this head really lacks underjaw. Movement very poor both ways. RBOB.

6 months old puppy, good head for his age, nice type, good body and topline. Moved well enough, still very loose and bit weak behind.

1st – Dr. W. Welch’s ELTHOR DARK BEHR

Pleasing type good head, neck and shoulders, nice bone down to good feet, strong body good outline, went well both ways and in profile, was pleased to award him best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Show.

2nd – Mr. S. Howell’s ELTHOR DARK CARL

Another nice one but bit plain in head, good bone, legs and feet, like better ribbing, went soundly both ways and in profile.

4 year old male, very good type, good masculine head well balanced, good eye, nice neck and shoulders, good legs and feet, plenty depth of chest, good ribbing, strong loin, good quarters, moved well striding out with reach and drive. CC & BOB.

Another nice one, pleasing head, good neck, nice body, like touch more rear angulation. Went well and in profile. RBD & RCC.

3yr old male, pleasing type, really strode out, caught my eye going round the ring. Nice head shape, good straight strong legs, good feet, good ribbing well back, strong loin and good quarters.

2nd – Miss S. Patel’s SHOTAAN FRITZ OF NETANYA

Another nice one, good head proportions, nice ears, bit light in eye which hardened his expression, good neck and shoulders. Strong bone, good straight legs, good body and quarters, moved well in profile, shown in good coat and condition.

3rd – Mrs. S. Nieves’ DANAMAN JUPITER

Pleasing type, good masculine head, good neck, nice body and balance, could not settle and stride out on the move.

OPEN

1st – Miss S. Patel’s MARINITA ARKOS OF NETANYA

Strong upstanding male of good breed type, good head, neck and shoulders, strong body and topline held on the move, plenty chest and heart room, good legs and feet, strong quarters which he used to advantage giving him tremendous reach and drive going round the ring. Pleased to award him the Dog CC & BOB.

2nd – Mrs. A. Sobers-Rice’s MONIFA RODDIE

Nice type, strong upstanding male, good head and ears, nice eye, good neck, strong shoulders, good chest, nice body and balance, quarters well angulated, moved and showed well, pushing number one hard for top honours. RCC.

3rd – Messrs. Worrell, Charles and Manning’s BARA BOSS VON SHOTAAN DELLA VINCIBAR

Another nice one, good breed type, masculine without coarseness, good head and strong ears, good neck and front assembly, good bone, strong body good balance, went well covering the ground.

6 months old baby has all the essentials, sweet feminine head, good proportions, nice body and balance, good quarters, shown in good coat and condition. Went soundly in front, still bit weak behind. Best Puppy Bitch & Best Puppy in Breed.

1st – Mr. B. Lashley’s NETANYA SERENA

Pleasing bitch puppy but unfortunately would not settle on the move today. Good type, needs time. Sweet head, good eye.

2nd – Miss S. Patel’s NETANYA VENUS

Another nice puppy, the same applies, would not settle, good head, legs and feet, needs time.

1st – Mrs. S. Nieves’ MIRRWOOD WANDA AT DANAMAN

2 year old bitch, pleasing head and expression, good ears, well used, nice neck and front assembly, good bone and substance, strong body and topline, moved well in profile striding out.

LIMIT

1st – Mrs. S. Nieves’ SHOTAAN CHARISMA VON MARINITA AT DANAMAN

Very nice type, good head and expression, good eye, nice strong straight legs, good feet, strong body good width of chest and heart room, strong quarters used to advantage. Moved well with drive covering the ground. RCC.

2nd – Mr. M. Worell’s SHOTAAN ASIA AT SEIUNCHIN

Another nice one, good head piece, nice eye, good strong legs, nice body and balance, quarters with correct angulation, went well with reach and drive.

1st – Mr. M. Worrell’s SILKENWOOD POSY OF KIMBERLAND

3 year old bitch, good type, full of quality, nice feminine head with all the essentials, good expression, nice eye. Good neck and front assembly, strong body good balance, excellent topline held on the move, good quarters with correct angulation. Moved well like she could go all day with little effort and reach and drive. Best Bitch, CC & RBOB..

2nd – Mr. O. Holder’s CH. MONIFA RANI

Nice bitch completely different type but again good breed type, nice feminine head, good eye, strong ears, good neck and shoulders, strong body and topline. Moved soundly.

5 yr male, pleasing head, good neck, nice straight legs, good body and topline, would like better quarters. Moved bit erratically. RBOB.

2 yr old bitch, very good type, nice feminine head, good neck and shoulders, shown in good coat and condition, good legs and feet, nice body and balance, good ribbing, just enough rear angulation, could have put more in on the move but nevertheless a nice one. Moved a touch close behind.
